David Lipsky leads the FedEx Fall Series

David Lipsky carded a 7-under-par 65 on Thursday at Silverado Country Club, making him the early leader of the FedEx Fall Series and giving him a one-shot advantage after the first round of the Procore Championship.

Lipsky, who has yet to claim a win in his 104 starts on the PGA Tour since joining in 2022, put together an impressive round featuring eight birdies and just one bogey on the picturesque course located in the heart of Napa Valley's wine country.

After missing the cut in his last three events, Lipsky flew from Las Vegas to Arizona to meet up with his college coach from Northwestern University, seeking to regain his form.

Trailing him after the first 18 holes are Scotsman Martin Laird and American Patton Kizzire, both tied for second at 6-under. Meanwhile, five American players—Marco Hubbard, Kevin Dougherty, Wilson Furr, Kevin Streelman, and Joel Dahmen—are locked in a tie for fourth at 5-under.
